Church membership–Take the “First Step”
If you are new to First Presbyterian Church, we understand that you have questions about Christian faith in general and the Presbyterian church in particular. To help address your questions, we offer three-session “First Steps” classes designed to explore the basics of Christian faith, the beliefs and practices of the Presbyterian church, and the mission and programs of First Presbyterian. The classes are help periodically throughout the year. Attending these classes in no way obligates you to become a member of First Presbyterian, but you will have the opportunity to unite in membership after completing the class if you desire. Contact the church office to register for the next class (date TBD).
Caring Ministries at First Presbyterian Church
Our Caring Ministry Team is desirous of helping you through those rough times in your life when you may be facing hospitalization, experiencing bereavement, or dealing with a particularly difficult situation. The Caring Ministry Team includes our pastors, deacons, elders, prayer chain members, hospital care team, and transportation committee members all working together to provide support and care in all aspects of life.
