Mark your calendars! FPC’s Women’s Retreat will take place at Menucha from Friday, April 14, through Sunday, April 16, 2023. The Rev. Dr. Barbara Campbell will speak at this year’s retreat. “In a culture that seems completely divided over issues of morality and ethics, she will invite us to consider the challenging foolish grace of Jesus (which are echoed by Judaism, and Islam) in light of the opposing worldly wisdom that culture often proposes. Using information from interfaith, ancient history, language studies, and examples from current social ideas, we will examine the hard moral and ethical values the Abrahamic traditions share.” Registration will take place on Sundays during coffee hour in Geneva Hall. Look for the table marked “Women’s Retreat Registration.” One of our volunteers will happily assist you through the process. Overnight accommodations are $185, and commuters will be $90.
