Come join us at a monthly meeting to discuss issues of social justice that impact the church and society. All newcomers welcome.
Broad social, economic and ecological justice issues of focus are:
poverty, debt, homelessness, hunger, creation care, healthcare,
and emerging issues at local, state, national, and international levels.
We develop these issues into forums, education classes, regular events, and special events, with Session approval in cooperation within the church, the wider faith community, and other organizations promoting social, economic, and ecological justice and peace.
We nurture mission-related initiatives to be self-sustaining as appropriate.

Nicholas Kristof: Focus on Refugees
Includes Part 1 (during service) and Part 2 (presentation)
The church's Session, its governing body, may occasionally issue statements on issues of general concern. Those statements express the Session's understanding of what our faith calls us to do and say. The Session addresses its statements to the congregation and to others for consideration.
We are a diverse congregation, and individual members may not agree with part or all of a given Session statement. Presbyterians believe that God alone is the Lord of the conscience.
Below is Nicholas Kristof’s compelling New York Times Op-Ed video that includes footage of his time with our church last summer.
