“Let your light shine ...” Matthew 5:14 - 16
Let your light shine is the focus of this year's Stewardship Campaign.
Our 2020 Stewardship Campaign will culminate this Sunday, Commitment Sunday, when we will join together to offer our pledge cards in support of the ministries of First Presbyterian Church.
This Sunday, we will have our Annual Meeting in the Sanctuary immediately following worship. At the Annual Meeting, we will elect officers and approve the installed pastors’ terms of call, as well as hear an update on the Capital Campaign projects. Please join us immediately following the Annual Congregational Meeting for a celebratory reception in the chapel and chapel Narthex. Small quiches, fruit and cookies will be served.
Fair Trade Items Available
In November, FPC’s Fair Trade Table will again take personal orders throughout the month. Products include Canaan Fair Trade olive oil, infused olive oils, couscous, freekeh, tomato and olive tapenade, zaatar and Café Justo Fair Trade coffees. Equal Exchange Fair Trade treats include dark chocolate bars, cashew nuts, and more. Please email the front office. Karen’s Coats Coat Drive is Underway
Open Circle is collecting new and clean, like-new coats for people of all ages and sizes; the collection barrel is in the narthex. This annual FPC tradition has been named “Karen’s Coats” in memory of Karen and Harry Keefer, who spearheaded our drive for many years. Coats collected will be distributed to four local agencies. Questions? Please contact Janet Leatherwood (email@example.com).
