We had an exciting day today with the students and staff of KSVS. Sarah and Kathryn spent the morning with nurse Ruth planning presentations on health and nutrition. Rick, Lindsey and Alex got to sit in and participate in classes at the secondary school. They did very well when they were put on the spot. In the evening, Lindsey gave a message to around 200 students and some of the faculty. The students warmed us up with loud and enthusiastic singing and clapping.
We have been spoiled with such wonderful food – pineapple, avocado, watermelon, mangos, passion fruit and bananas grown locally.
The STEM center that we helped to build is almost done! They have running water in the chemistry lab. The computer lab is almost done as well – just waiting for a server to get them going. Josh, Reverend John’s son, has done a marvelous setting up the computer system.
