BACH AND SONS
Friday, March 19th at 7pm

Organist Jeannine Jordan performs music by Bach
& his sons, with narration from women in his life.
Media artist David Jordan brings the stories to life
using multiple cameras to capture Dr. Jordan’s playing.
In partnership with Play it Forward, an organization that gives gently used instruments
and music lessons to students and music programs throughout Portland.

Sopranos Christine Johnson and Madeline Ross, join Hannah Brewer,
harpsichord, and Adaiha MacAdam-Somer, viola da gamba,
share stories of brave, vulnerable women and how they persisted.
In partnership with Rose Haven, the only day shelter and community center serving
women, children, and marginalized genders in Portland.

Mezzo-soprano Lisa Neher and pianist Stephanie Thompson
perform a concert of music exploring the human condition
through the lens of birds, featuring Winged from Within,
a new work by Portland composer Theresa Koon.
In partnership with Portland Audubon, a passionate and growing community
that has loved and advocated for Oregon’s wildlife and wild places for more than 100 years.

LLUVIAS DE GUITARRA: RAIN STRINGS

Guitarist Maria Olaya will present a concert of acoustic guitar music
inspired by the poetry of water throughout the ages.
She will be joined by soprano Madeline Ross.
In partnership with Oregon Environmental Council, bringing Oregonians together
to protect our water, air, and land with healthy solutions that work for today and for future generations.
